ABOUT
Christina completed her Bachelor of Arts in Criminology with a Policing Studies Certificate from Simon Fraser University in 2012, and her Juris Doctor from Thompson Rivers University Faculty of Law in 2015.
Christina focuses primarily on family law, civil litigation, and estate litigation. While Christina prides herself on her strong advocacy skills in the courtroom, Christina understands that resolving disputes outside of court can sometimes be more effective. Christina emphasizes the importance of tailoring strategies unique to each dispute and client.
Christina has appeared in the Provincial Court, and the Court of Queen’s Bench for both ex parte and contested applications. Christina also has experience appearing before administrative tribunals.
Prior to law school, Christina worked in Corrections, as a Kickboxing Instructor, and as an Outreach Worker assisting clients with developmental disabilities.
Outside of professional life, Christina plays on a local dodgeball team once a week, and enjoys walking her dog, Bentley.
Stephanie Atillo is a legal assistant at C. Matthews Legal Solutions, where she keeps the details behind the scenes moving smoothly.
Stephanie completed her Legal Assistant diploma at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT), where she developed a strong foundation in legal office procedures, document preparation, file organization, and court processes. She enjoys the structure and precision of legal work, while recognizing that behind every file is a person who deserves to feel heard, supported, and cared for.
Outside of the office, Stephanie enjoys running, dancing, travelling, reading, or experimenting in the kitchen. Whether she is exploring a new place, trying a new recipe, or challenging herself through movement and new experiences, she values continuous growth, meaningful connection, and bringing curiosity and care to both her personal and professional life.
